Tonquish Creek Manor

 

Tonquish Creek Manor is a joint effort between the City of Plymouth and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) providing 108 units of subsidized housing specifically designed for active men and women over 62 years of age.


Nestled in a wooded, park-like setting just steps from downtown
Plymouth, Tonquish Creek Manor provides senior citizens with peace of mind and companionship while encouraging a carefree, independent lifestyle.

Beautifully decorated in a warm and comfortable style, each floor has graciously appointed lounges for visiting with friends or just relaxing. The first floor houses a library, an arts and crafts room, a beauty shop and a laundry room. The community room, also on the first floor, is the scene of many activities such as the Wednesday morning Coffee Hour, monthly Potluck dinners, weekly exercise classes, a nutrition program serving a noon-time meal and any other social events which residents are encouraged to participate in. Residents are kept up to date on these activities via a newsletter printed monthly.

Guests are admitted to the building by use of the tele-entry system located in the main, private lobby. This same lobby provides protection from the elements while enabling residents to collect their mail or search for their keys. Assigned parking spaces are available for those who drive and a senior van for those who don't.

Tonquish Creek manor is gracious living at its finest. Yes, we do experience a waiting list however we encourage you to apply for residency. Applications are available at the Tonquish Creek manor office during normal business hours.  Tonquish Creek manor is truly a fine place to live!
