2013-14 Registration Dates
The pre-registration for House (Recreational / B Levels ) and the Learn to Play Hockey Program (Mighty Mini Mites) runs March 1st - May 24th.
Travel (A or AA Levels) Registration will open on March 1st.
You must have been invited to play on a PCHA Travel Team to register at the Travel level. Registering for Travel Hockey does not guarantee a place on a Travel Team. There are NO REFUNDS if you register for a Travel Team and are not selected to the team.

To register online, you must set up a Household Account with our office that will generate a username and password to register.
For first time users, your Household Account can be set-up by contacting the Recreation Department at, For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. or call us at (734)455-6620 x 0. (Front Counter Hours Mon.- Fri., 12:00pm - 4:30pm).
Once your Household Account is set-up, you can use it for all future registrations.
If you need to add a child or new member to your household, just contact the Recreation Office as listed above.
You will receive e-mail blasts regarding PCHA program information from the e-mail address you supply from your household account.
PCHA Registration and Program Fees:
The fees for the 2013 - 2014 season is as follows:
House & Travel Association Registration Fee: $165 during pre-registration period, $175 during the normal registration period . This fee is paid on-line when you register your player with PCHA.
Ice Fees during the season: Each coach / team determines the hours per week that they skate. This will determine the per month ice fees. These fees will be paid directly to the "team manager" on a monthly basis.
Tournament Fees: Each team also determines if they choose to play in any tournaments. This cost is split over all the members of the team and is included in the monthly ice bill.
USA Hockey Registration
USA Hockey is the governing body of youth hockey.
Parents will have to register their children with USA Hockey after being placed on a team. Team Managers will provide the parents with additional information on this process once teams are formed.
USA Hockey Registration is free to children 6 & Under. Children 7 & older is a $45.00 fee.

Equipment Needed
Full equipment is required and is supplied by the player. This includes:
ice hockey skates and stick
hockey helmet with full face guard
neck guard
jersey
chest protector
elbow pads
hockey gloves
hockey pants
hockey shorts with cup (athletic supporter) for boys or pelvis protector (girls),
shin guards
hockey socks
mouth guard
hockey bag and water bottle recommended but not required
Frequently Asked Questions (2013 - 2014 Season)
Do I have to create a Household Account in order to register with PCHA?
Yes. You must have a household account through the City of Plymouth to participate in the online registration process.
What if I create a Household Account and decide not to register for hockey?
You simply have a username and password that can be used for future registrations.
Why do I need to register with PCHA?
It assists PCHA in planning for teams and coaching positions. In addition, your child will not be able to attend House Draft Skate or be rostered to any PCHA team without being properly registered.
Can I fill out a paper PCHA registration form?
No. The only method to register for PCHA hockey will be through the online registration.
What if I missed the pre-registration period?
You can register during the open registration window.
What if I have more than one child playing within PCHA?
Just contact the Recreation Office to add any members to your household.
What does the PCHA Registration cover?
Your child will receive 2 jerseys (home and away) and two sets of game socks. The fee also assists with team entry fee into Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League (LCAHL) and Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) District Tournament entry fee.
What if my child decides not to play hockey after I have already registered and paid the registration fee?
All registration fees are non-refundable. (Please read all online waivers during registration process!) We encourage you to bring your player to see what a great sport hockey is to play!! He/she may just change their mind!
What if my child is interested in playing house hockey after the season has already started?
Please see the PCHA Website to contact the appropriate House Coordinator.
When does the season begin and end?
The season officially begins on September 1st. House Draft skates typically take place during the month of August. Travel tryouts are held during the summer months and are scheduled by each team independently.
Please refer to the PCHA website or individual team website for Travel Tryout dates. The regular season ends for House and Travel Players on March 31st.
When are games?
Games can be played on any day or evening after September 1st. Games will be played on either home or away team ice.
When do teams practice?
Team practice days and times are requested by each coach and/or are fulfilled based on availability of ice.

When will I be notified that my child has been placed on a team?
House players must attend draft skate in August. A coach or team/PCHA representative will contact you regarding team placement. Travel players will be contacted by team coach after tryouts are complete.
